Appropriation Ordinance

An Ordinance of the City of Nezperce, Idaho amending Ordinance 2017-9.The Appropriation Ordinance for the Fiscal year beginning October 1, 2017, Appropriating monies that are to be expended by the City of Nezperce, Idaho in the sum of $80,000.00; Providing for the repeal of conflicting provisions and providing an effective date.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Nezperce, Lewis County, Idaho:

Section 1: That Ordinance No. 2017-9, the appropriation ordinance for the City of Nezperce, Idaho for the fiscal year commencing October 1, 2017, be, and the same is hereby amended as follows:

The EMS Building Fund expended an additional $40,000.00 to cover the costs of construction needed to complete the Emergency Facilities Building.  These costs were not anticipated during project planning.  The General Fund expended $20,000.00 to cover airport maintenance that was budgeted in the prior year but occurred in the current year; an additional $10,000.00 was transferred to streets for seal coating annual maintenance plus $10,000.00 in miscellaneous operating and equipment costs for the EMS building.

Section 2: All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force upon its passage, approval and publication in one issue of the Lewis County Herald, a newspaper of general circulation in Lewis County, and the official newspaper of said City.
Passed under suspension of rules, upon which a roll call vote was taken and duly enacted an Ordinance of the City of Nezperce, Lewis County, Idaho at a convened meeting of the City of Nezperce City Council held on the 13th day of November 2018.
