RESOLUTION No. R2019-5
CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED EXCHANGE OF REAL ESTATE FOR REAL ESTATE OF EQUAL VALUE
Whereas, pursuant to IC 50-1401 the City Council of the City of Nezperce has the authority, when in the best interests of the City, to exchange certain underutilized real property for other property of equal value, and
Whereas IC 50-1402 requires a public hearing on the proposed exchange,
NOW THEREFORE the City Council shall hold a public hearing on the proposed exchange, on the 26th day of August 2019 at City Hall, 606 Maple Street, Nezperce, Idaho at the hour of 5:30 PM to consider the exchange of the following underutilized real property, to wit:
The East 45 feet, of Lot 9 of Block 11 and Lots 11 and 12 of Block 12 of the original Village, now City of Nezperce, according to the recorded plat thereof.
For the following property of equal value, to be received in exchange by the City of Nezperce, to wit:
Lots 7-9 and Lots 10-12 of Block 19 of Johnsons First addition to the original Village, now City of Nezperce according to the recorded plat thereof.
The council herby determines that the values of the parcels of the property are approximately equal and that the proposed exchange is in the best interests of the City.
