Nezperce Mayor Tyler Nelson participated in the 2025 Mayor’s Walking Challenge and thus received a $1,000 grant from the Blue Cross of Idaho Foundation for Health, Inc.
“We look forward to hearing how you use your funds,” wrote Courtney Frost, executive director of the Foundation. “Specifically, we encourage you to use the grant funding from the Foundation to promote physical activity in your community.”
Nelson said he would be giving the grant money to the Nezperce High School cross-country team.
