The Nezperce Community Library has announced its Summer Reading Program and other activities for 2025.
Story time, STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), and crafts are held from 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Mondays for kids in preschool through third grade.
Story time, STEM, STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) and crafts for tweens and teens are held from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Fridays.
Garden Club meetings are held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. the fourth Wednesday of each month. Junior Garden Club (kids of all ages) meetings take place on the same days from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday, June 20: Teen Movie Night is set with doors opening at 5:45 p.m. and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 starting at 6 p.m.
July 7 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. a demonstration about color of light by Kathleen Dawes, a professor from the University of Idaho, will take place.
July 23: All-ages Art Program at noon will feature Sam Jameson and Paige Jarvis.
July 25: Family Game Night. Doors open at 5:45 p.m. with games starting at 6 p.m.
July 30: Field Trip to the Nezperce Museum. Meet at library at 10:30 a.m.
Aug. 9: Summer end party at the Lions Park from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
