Nezperce Looks For Comprehensive Plan Team:

The Nezperce City Council has started working on a comprehensive Plan and is looking to organize a Comprehensive Plan Team with members of the community.

The team will review the strengths and weaknesses of the Nezperce community and come up with ideas, suggestions and plans for the way they think Nezperce should go into the future with the Nezperce City Council reviewing everything the team comes up with.

If interested in serving on the Comprehensive Planning Team, please contact City Clerk Rhonda Schmidt at City Hall (Monday through Thursday 8:30-4).

The Comprehensive Plan is required by the State of Idaho and also helps communities with grant requests.

The team needs to be organized by Friday, February 9.

Dog Tags:  Every dog in the Nezperce City Limits is required to have a dog tag, whether they never leave the yard or not.
Dog tags must be renewed every year.  Tags are $5 for the first dog, $10 for the second and $15 for the third ($30 for three dogs).
The 2018 dog tags are now available at City Hall, Monday-Thursday.
Building Permits are required PRIOR to work being done,
Demolition is okay but construction requires a building permit within the Nezperce City Limits.  Any questions, please contact City Hall.
If doing a major window replace project this also falls under the need for a Building Permit prior to the work.
If you have questions, best to check in with Nezperce City Hall.
**If you are doing a big project you are required to get your own dumpster - the roll-offs located by the Nezperce School are not for large construction project debris.

Garbage Totes:  With snow falling and plows needing to get through, please remove your garbage totes quickly Thursday morning after collection.

(click below for more info on recycling)
RECYCLE PROPERLY PLEASE.  NO plastic bags; NO lids on bottles; NO plastic container that held fruit, mac salad, etc.
Paper bags may be left in the newspaper bin.
Things have to be physically corrected prior to the hauling of the recycling bins when the directions are not followed.
