NOTES FROM CITY HALL:

PLEASE HELP KEEP THE PARK CLEAN:  There has been a lot of garbage left in the city parks and damage done to planters, etc. also there are doggy bags available in Memorial/Lions Park so if you do walk your dog, PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER IT.

The Nezperce City Council approved the 2018-2019 budget as presented during a special meeting on Monday, August 27.

The Council also approved 3% increase for sewer rates effective October 1, 2018.

The approved sewer increase will mean:

Single Family residences & churches went from $45.19/month to $46.55/month
Multi-family unit shall pay per unit:  up from $45.19/month to $46.55/month
Small Businesses: up from $54/month to $$55.62
Medium Businesses:  up from $61.38/month to $63.22/month
Large Busineses:  up from $68.76/month to $70.82/month
High Volume Businesses:  up from $97.63 to $100.56/month 


PLEASE WATCH FOR CHILDREN as they may not be watching for you as you drive in town.

The City does require dog owners to have a dog license that needs to be renewed every year.  if you have any questions or need a dog license, please contact City Hall.  Dog licenses expire every January.

*Building permits are required PRIOR to the start of work.  Building permits are available at Nezperce City Hall.

RECYCLE PROPERLY PLEASE.  NO plastic bags; NO lids on bottles; NO plastic container that held fruit, mac salad, etc.
Paper bags may be left in the newspaper bin.
Things have to be physically corrected prior to the hauling of the recycling bins when the directions are not followed.
